Yoona promotes the use of Eco-friendly hankies for "Innisfree"允兒：“請用eco手絹代替紙巾吧”

Cosmetics brand ‘Innisfree‘ has come up with a special eco-friendly handkerchief that’s being promoted by their endorsement model, SNSD’s YoonA.

Named as the “YoonA’s Jeju Handkerchief“, the item marks YoonA’s second year in the campaign.  She said, “As the model for ‘Innisfree’, I made frequent visits to Jeju Island and learned so many new things about the island.  I was captivated by its natural beauty and take pride in how clean and beautiful it is.  These thoughts made me determined to protect its natural environment.”

She continued, “I hope to influence people to use handkerchiefs instead of using tissues.  Little actions like these go a long way in protecting our environment and keeping it clean and beautiful.”

For one month, the handkerchief will be included for customers purchasing over $100 USD worth of items in any ‘Innisfree’ store. Special customers will also be able to win an autographed handkerchief from YoonA herself.

“Innisfree” will be releasing a limited edition version of their best-selling item, the “Green Tea Seed Serum”, of which 10% of the profits will go to towards “Jejuolle” in donations.

YoonA: No tissue papers, please

For the sake of Earth’s well-being, YoonA recommended everyone to use Innisfree’s eco-handkerchief instead of tissue papers.

As part of her activities as the model for the natural cosmetic brand, YoonA introduced Innisfree’s ‘YoonA’s Jeju Handkerchief’ which is produced in conjunction with Innisfree’s ‘Eco-Handkerchief Campaign’.

YoonA who is taking part in the 2nd ‘Eco-Handkerchief Campaign’ said, “While carrying out activities as a model for Innisfree, I’ve visited Jeju Island very often and without realizing, I was captivated by Jeju’s beauty and fell in love with it. As we have performed in many places overseas, I felt proud of the cleanliness and beauty of our country and realize the importance of maintaining it that way”.

In support of the campaign and expressing her love for the nature, YoonA added, “To kick of this campaign, I’ll use handkerchief instead of tissue papers. Through this small exercise, we could preserve the cleanliness and beauty of our nature. I hope many would come forward to participate in this campaign”.

In the limited period of just 1 month (within June only), customers who spend more than 10,000 Won will be entitled to a piece Eco-Handkerchief with YoonA’s autograph on it.

Along with the Eco-Handkerchief that illustrates YoonA’s kindness, limited editions of Innisfree’s best products ‘The Green Tea Seed Serum’ and ‘Green Tea Mineral Mist’ will also be made available. The limited edition of ‘The Green Tea Seed Serum’ will be available in 160ml bottles, which is 2 times its original volume (80ml), at a reasonable price.

Starting from June 1st onwards, 10% from the sales of the limited edition items will go to Jeju Olle. The purchase of these products will not only maintain the cleanliness of the skin but also preserving the beauty of nature.

Korean idol group SHINee will be unveiling their Japan debut music video "Replay -You're My Everything" on May 27th. The group recently had yet another preview of their music videoreleased on Fuji TV on May 25th, which revealed that SNSD's Yoona will be featuring as the "noona." SHINee's original Korean music video for their "Replay" featured f(x)'s Victoria.

On May 16th, EMI Music Japan revealed the first official teaser on their Youtube channel for SHINee's "Replay." The teaser received hot reactions from fans and netizens, who views this as a more mature SHINee performing their debut song.

The ringtone for the Japanese "Replay" (April 28th) and "Hello" (May 14th) from their Japanese debut single has also been released via Japan's online mobile site, Rocochoku. Both ringtones did very well and topped the charts.

SHINee will make their anticipating debut in Japan with their single release on June 22nd. Before that, however, they are set to perform at the Abbey Road Studios in London, England on June 19th. They will then embark on a fan meeting tour in Japan called "SHINee Japan Debut Premium Reception" in July and will visit Osaka, Tokyo, Nagoya, Fukuoka, and Sapporo.
